Hawsons Celebrates 170 years
On 12th December 2024, we celebrated our 170th Anniversary. Founded on the same date in 1854 by John Hewett and Alfred Allot, Hawsons has grown to become one of the longest-standing independent firms of Chartered Accountants in the UK.
Pete Wilmer, Senior Partner at Hawsons commented: ‘We are extremely proud to reach this historic milestone which demonstrates the firm’s resilience and ability to adapt through periods of change. We believe it is important to give our staff the opportunity to celebrate this milestone together and reflect on the success we have had over the past 170 years.’
Our team are celebrated this milestone across our three offices in Sheffield, Doncaster and Northampton.
As Hawsons looks forward to the future, we will continue evolving to ensure we meet and exceed our clients’ needs and help them to grow their business. In recent years, we have rebranded, launched our core values and designed a brand-new purpose statement which will soon be complemented by our own vision statement. We have also recently partnered with Bruce & Butler to enhance our service offering, adding cyber security and data protection consulting with further exciting plans ahead.
