The first set of provisions from the Charities Act 2022 came into force on 31st October 2022.

The Charities Act 2022 gained Royal Assent earlier this year and the Commission has been working together with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport’s implementation plan to gradually introduce the new act.
The next set of provisions are due to come into force in the spring of 2023.
