On 1 February 2026, Companies House increased most of its fees, with a few small reductions.
These changes reflect a broader shift in how Companies House operates, following new powers introduced under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.
We’ve summarised the main fee changes in the table below:
| Service | Previous Cost | From 1 February |
| Digital incorporation filing | £50 | £100 |
| Digital confirmation statement | £34 | £50 |
| Paper confirmation statement | £34 | £110 |
| Registering as an authorised corporate service provider (ACSP) | £55 | £63 |
| Same-day change of name | £83 | £85 |
| Voluntary strike off (digital) | £33 | £13 |
| Registration of a charge | £14 | £15 |
| Administrative restoration | £468 | £341 |
Why are the fees going up?
The increases are part of a wider push to modernise and strengthen the UK’s corporate registry.
Companies House has been given greater authority to query and remove inaccurate or misleading information from its records. That means more scrutiny, more checks, and more resources, which these higher fees are intended to support.
Although some fees rose in May 2024, that was the first time in almost ten years. This latest update reflects the continued roll-out of the new rules and expanded responsibilities.
