About George
Prior to joining Hawsons, George studied for a degree in Economics and Finance at Newcastle University. In September 2019, George joined Hawsons on our graduate scheme qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2023, before being promoted to Assistant Audit Manager in 2025. During his time at Hawsons, George has worked on audits for a wide range of clients from small charities to large international groups.
Outside the office, George is a fan of films and can often be found hiking up a hill in the Peak District with a camera when the weather allows.
