Hawsons Business Continuity Plan

We are currently in the middle of what is now being referred to as a global pandemic. This is causing a significant amount of interruption for businesses globally and looks set to continue in the coming weeks and months.

We have monitored the COVID-19 outbreak closely and have sent numerous communications to our team, the well-being of whom is of the utmost importance to us. As you will appreciate there is no recent precedent for an outbreak such as this and we felt that, given the latest announcement from the UK Government it would be appropriate to inform you about some of the contingency measures we are putting in place. These measures will help to ensure that you do not experience any dip in the service quality that you have come to expect from us.

As of Wednesday 18th of March we have enabled the majority of our team to work from home should they wish to do so. We should stress that there will still be people working in the Sheffield, Doncaster and Northampton offices. If you have the direct dial or mobile number of your usual Hawsons contact we would encourage you to make use of it, although all receptions will remain contactable as usual. E-mails will operate in the usual way with no interruption anticipated. We believe that through a combination of office and home working we will be able to help keep our team safe without causing disruption to our service levels. We will of course continue to keep you informed of our progress with work we are carrying out on your behalf. We also have the facilities to set up video conferencing or conference calls so that meetings can continue should you not wish to have face to face meetings for the time being.

For the past 165 years Hawsons has been helping our clients to establish and grow their businesses through thick and thin. We firmly believe that by working together we will get through these unprecedented, challenging times.
